2003 Merlot Receives an Outstanding Rating – 12/14/2006

We are pleased to announce our 2003 Merlot was rated "Outstanding" wine by Wine Press Northwest. The synopsis is printed in the Winter 2006-2007 issue. Here is what is said:

"Put this in the "WOW" category, both in terms of pleasure and price. Opening with nice French oak notes, there's black cherries, coffee, earth and leather, sarsparilla and green peppercorns and bell pepper for complexity. The velvety smooth drink is dominated by sweet blackberries, then blueberries and cream with some tobacco in the rich mid-palate. Tannins build gradually, but there's a nice trailing finish of more berries. Grill a T-bone."
